Description

This is as complete an image of Yosemite Falls that is possible from the valley floor. It shows the upper and lower falls well enough but leaves out much of the middle cascades. From the top of the upper falls to the bottom of the lower falls is 739 meters and is ranked the 6th highest waterfall in the world. It is hard to picture in low snow years these spectacular falls stop running. Thank you for your support. A kind thanks to those adding the image as a fav

Oh man--I could sit and look at that scene for hours--and the smell of the woods and water would be fantastic, especially in the morning--terrific job of capturing just that kind of mood and atmosphere...

Great shot. I remember needing to use a plastic bag to keep my SLR dry!

haha, now I understand the man who said, "do you call this a waterfall?". A truly spectacular photograph! I envy those who live near to nature like this.

That is nothing short of spectacular!!!! I absolutely love it. The lighting makes it even more magical and the framing of the pine trees heavenly. Thank you so much, it is of course a special favorite.
