Description

I am sure this is something for you Tara, but when you reads, that I actually killed a mouse in it, maybe not anymore. :-/ I have a metal float for fishing. One day I placed it on this pot. Then I was free of seeing it rolling around all the time. THen the other day, when I moved the pot, I discovered a dry mouse in it, together with a matte of MY HAIR! YIKES! It had been trying to build a nest in it, but I closed it with the float, not knowinG it was in there. I really dont like the thought. __________________________________________________ Have a lovely day. We have sunshine again today, so I guess it is garden work again today :-/ __________________________________________________ Thank you so much for viewing and kind comments to my previous post and special warm thanks go to those, who added it to their favorites. :)

The left tulip looks like a small bird in a nest - nice shot and reflections! Too bad about the mouse, but they frequently get themselves into places that they cannot get out from.

Despite the mouse part of it this really is a beautiful pot. I have a friend who travels the states speaking to young kids and creating pots such as this one while he does to hold their attention.

Lovely pot, I really like the flowers shadows in the glazing. Excellent capture! Sometimes what seems like a perfect place to live is a trap.

WOW! What an adventure! Sort of. I don't think the mouse was too happy about it, but it's a fascinating story! WOW! And such a beautiful image too! Funny how life is like that, something gorgeous may involve dead mice and fishing floats! At any rate, this is a super image! I love the colors and the shine of the glaze on the ceramic pot! Lovely shadows too! This is quite nice, indeed!

Beautiful colouring in this image and I love the reflection. A shame about the mouse though as you will always associate that with this vase.

The glowing finish on this is really so warm and interesting. I do feel badly for the mouse, however, it was his time... Fabulous depth in the bowl and an intriguing story.

Poor mouse! I was driving home from work one day and two sparrows swooped in front of my car. I hit the little female. When I got home I found her wedged in my grill, dead of course, but looking unharmed. In her beak was a piece of straw for their nest. I felt terrible. This is a beautiful pot! I love the shadows and highlights of the shiny finish, and the way it is lit up against its surroundings! Excellent image!
