BIO
This site is a collaboration between myself and Alexander Graham. Alex is someone who answered my call from a place, though far away, so close to my heart, and we work together towards the same goals with a shared vision of a better world, not just for a chosen few, but for everyone, everywhere. And we work for an understanding that there are other points of view and other opinions, and that open debate, along with all the other principles America was founded on, is what turns that diversity of perspective and prejudice into a strength instead of a weakness. That is what our work is devoted to: a better world for our children's children's children.Thank you for taking the time to visit.. Alexander and Lynn

Lynn this guy is quite interesting...I think its so cool how animals all have their own special way of defending themselves. Snakes are probably the least of my comfort level in any animal to be around because I used to have terrible nightmares of them a good part of my life...but they are so very cool...thanks for sharing this my friend. I do hope you are feeling better today. Hugs

Great pics here Lynn and I'm glad you took so much care and released him in a safe area. Not sure he would have had the same happy ending if he had been in my yard as snakes are not too welcome there ;) Glad I got to see your newest upload before heading out for the day. Hugs

What a little cuty indeed. I like snakes, but I usually dont touch them, as either they blow smells at ya, or they are poisonous..Well, the 2 kinds I know about, that is :) I like these shots alot.

terrific capture ;-D, great shot!

Fine collage of the serpent, possibly a leftover from the Garden of Eden, Lynn. I like the tortuous, undulating body as it slithers across the table top, similar to a sidewinder rattlesnake. But I don't understand why it looks like a colorless albino in the top foto, but has its normal coloring and patterns in the bottom two shots.

How tiny he is and yet he looks quite large in these shots. Great captures.

I love garter snakes...the only problem is if you pick one up as he's frightened, he'll vomit defensively! Needless to say, as a kid who liked making girls scream, that was a handy trick to know. That and garter snakes are just so fun! They're always nicely cool to the touch and almost velvet-like, unless they're about to molt, then they're just kinda scruffy. I also love the fact that they're toothless and are always threatening to bite, and if they do, they just gum you aggressively! Needless to say, I love these beauties and it's great to see such a lively trio of shots. Also, I hope you've had a fun birthday celebration! At this moment I'm offering a toast to you...even though it's iced coffee, but one toasts with what one has, and well...no hard stuff until the weekend!
