Description
This is another refrence image I rendered for my current project. Stonemasion's designs fill the scene. Some surfaces were retextured by me, and FK's KiriTe hair for Aiko
I am also curious for those who wish to comment if the image is too dark. I've recently discovered that my main monitor is brighter than the others. I do like the dark and gritty scenes, but her face should atleast be visable. It'll be a problem if my final productions are too dark for most people

Xcellent rendering work! Great ambiance lighting!

Great shot. The pose is natural lighting is good her face is a little obscure If you are using photoshop for postwork you could copy just her face into a new layer and use a high pass filter and blend it in using opacity and fill to lighten or highlight the face to show it off better.I really like the shot.

Looks good to me -- but then sometimes I like the dark for that sense of mystery it lends. Nicely done.

Thank you all for the comments. gemb1 I try to do 0 post work when it comes to the image it self, as I wont have the liberty of doing any photoshop postwork in a final animation. I'll be checking out AfterEffects later this year though to see what that can offer

Excellent render. No need for post. The lighting is excellent.

I think it might be a touch dark if you want to see her face, but if this is part of an animation, and her head turns either left or right. I suspect this will add enough for the eye to pick out her face.

Great work, again! Her face is a little bit to dark, but is okay. Acoording to monitors: I have experienced that different monitors can be very different in light and contrast. I use 2 separate computers and monitors, the last ones I have tried to do so similar as possible in light and contrast. When I have the opportunity I check my uploads on other peoples computers to see how it look. Some render artists' uploads tend to be to dark or to bright, generally. I think it is a pity for their works, and changing the screen set up all the time is not something I will do. So fine you are aware of it! Best wishes Rhanagaz

I've thought about reworking this image, as my lighting talents have changed. But it's nice to see old work and how much one improves over time
