Interesting work... Like the shine of the moon at the ocean surface... and his view over the sea... the choice of the title is also interesting - very ambiguous... dou you mean the abyss in front of him, the abyss in his soul... has he nudeged someone/something into it - or does he plan to jump himself...

This is classic composition, with the moonlight showing us just enough to one side and create a nice balance of positive and negative space. The moonlight on the water really sets the scene -- without it, we would not have any sense of place. One of your most effective lighting jobs from this time period of your work.
