Description

picked up a flashing LED necklace from a trashy jewelry sore... paid $2,50 for it... 4 second, long exposure, motion... slight postwork... heeheehee bit of an announcement... my appearance here, for the next few months is going to be a bit sporadic as I've got a number of things to take care of. formost, I'm watching over an aging relative, nothing big, but someone has to be around... and I'm also using the time to do a number of projects tha I've had to put on the back burner for the past couple years because of life getting in the way... but I have to do them before it gets to a point where I won't be able to get them done... and I couldn't handle the regret... (as I don' have kids or a family.. per se...my work is all I've got to show...) so.... I'm taking a cue from Wayne/Doarte and starting a photo essay on small towns and cemetarys... with it will be the same type of prose as i've done with the images posted here... there's a number of small animations, (started the Fazholt, might do more featuring him..) The movie with my spaceship Rainbow Wanderer... the big Momentism Movie ( Momentism is an animation system/technique I've developed for using small, inexpensive digital cameras) and hopefully by parlaying the works I've done up to now and the projects I'm doing this year, someday... the Parthenon Movie...(I figure if James Cameron can wrap a half billion dollars worth of acting and special effects around a ten dollar story...I can easily wrap a million dollars worth of acting and animation around a million dollar story..) so, if you don't hear from me for a while... I hope you not think me rude but I'm busy...I'm going to drop in every now and again, post some production shots...comment when I can...I'm going to miss you all bigtime...but when I can.. i will peek in... thank you for your time and all the comments (yes, even the bad ones... got a big laff out of the pomposity of some of them...) and unless you've made other plans, Have a great day! collin

Now that's an effect that James Cameron couldn't possibly do on your (and mine) budget ! The grainyness works well with the neon effect. Good luck with all your projects and see ya 'round ! ~Cheers~

Well done and brilliant study of motion and exposure. Take care and come back soon in full force...when things settle down a bit for you.

First things first, I also thought originally, that this was a fractal... tricked me ! What you are doing privately is also very admirable, good on you Colin ! I do hope for your sake, that there is also some remuneration in it for you, you deserve it and GOOD LUCK with your future projects, whatever they will be ? Keep us posted, keep warm... BB
