UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

This is an amazing shot, good composition! And to answer to your question, no, I never wondered, 'cause so far I didn't need to see a doc!

Excellent warm mood to this one, Bill. A testament to your skill - making a doctor's office look so warm and inviting! Great photo!

I find it odd that we build rooms specifically for waiting. All rooms seem to be designed for a purpose...even multipurpose rooms are constructed for certain types of multi-use. Can't cook in them. Can't take a shower in them... and here is a small room whose only purpose is for waiting. :-) At least it is cozy and snug...did you enjoy your wait?
MrsRatbag
It's not a very big waiting room, this doctor must have a reasonable booking schedule! Excellent capture!

What a beautiful waiting room Warm and lovely colors. Much more inviting as the waitingrooms i have seen here. Usually I dont expect to wait for long, but if i do, I bring a book. All the sickness magasines in a waiting room make me feel sick :-)))

Excellent hues, tones and lighting effects in this indoor shot, Bill. Reminds me of my dentist's office, but his has a television set, and sets of huge toy teeth sitting on top of end tables.

A lovely capture of your Dr's waiting room. It looks much more pleasant than ours is. Also your waiting time doesn't look to be great with all the chairs empty.

once I told my son not to look at the magazines in the doctors office because of all the sick people coming there and doing the same thing.several people calmly put their magazines back on the tables

Is it good or bad that there is no one in the pic! Great pic.

Oh yes, been to lots of waiting rooms lately with FiL, and son, and for myself. This one is very nicely decorated. Our waiting rooms are usually full of people, larger, and plainer. ;c)
