What really happened? Instinct told me my soul As deep in thoughts swirled Told no truths Doubt became being Dreamt the many visions Of the pieces spoken distant As ruffled the covers unraveled Screams of the haunting cry Awoke up and knew You lied to me How the flow would fall out Awhile the bed and hit the floor Only to bring time again Never understanding the rain Strange one night slept The top of the bunk rolled Woke up a startled sweat Sudden hard as the fall Feet landed on the floor Never again fell Out blew the light ©15 April 2010 LKS ================ Thank you so much have a warm Thursday had to think it is Thursday lol

Things we think in the middle of the night can be scary, disturbing, difficult ... I'm never sure what's true and what's not, either. This is wonderful work, and I love the volcano image. Going deep down ... excellent metaphor for your poem.

It looks like a watercolor landscape. Great image. Your words are dead on. I've been there, dreams so vivid I thought they were real, dreams that came true. It happens.
