This is comming along very nicely! I like the lighting in the last one better, this one is a little hot. You textures are lookin good just the typical miss-alignments (corners of the mouth)and texture stretching (Lips and the beard stubble leading from the lower lip to the chin). What type of mapping are you using? As I'm sure you know UVs are the way to go (Like thats a revelation ;) ). From my experience any of the regular projection solutions (Planar, cylindrical or sphereical)will distort somewhere ( more stating the obvious...somebody stop me!). And its very hard to shoot your textures so that they perfectly line up with the facial feature you model. It ends up looking great from one angle then terrible from another. There is a great tut on the web somewhere about applying wieght map and gradient textures to lips with great results. I cant recall where I saw it but it is worth the hunt. Dont get me wrong I think this looks fantastic and Im sure this is gonna end up stellar!

WOW thanks Voxel57 thats whatI call a feedback. By the way i use UVs but I have to tweak some more ( UVs as well as Textures ). You can see all together in this thread http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12385&Form.ShowMessage=757008

Fan-frickin-tastic! I have to agree with Voxel57 regarding the lighting in the previous as a better quality. Maybe a combination of the two? Do ya' have a specular and diffuse map made? Might that help? Just need to bring out the eyes [NO I'm not makin' a pass :) ] a bit more in the previous render like you did in this one. Textures are top quality. Keep the coffee brewin'.

Very impressive work. I know almost nothing about Lightwave, however I can see that you have done an excellent job in making the model and texture so that it resembles you. It is incredibly life-like. Hats off to you.

Good stuff. There's a good amount of subtle asymmetry in the textures and modelling that makes it more realistic looking. I'd grey down the whites of the eyes a bit. They have a bit too much yellow in them. They are never pure white but here they are a bit too close to the coloring of the face.
