This is very fine portrait, Anita. I do like it. Â & you know I adore the human face. Â :-) Simple is best in portraiture. Â Our aim should be to focus attention upon the main subject and remove anything that distracts from that aim. Â With a face the main subject is always the eyes .. unless you are trying something unusual for a specific motive. Here ... Rio's eyes dominate the scene and thus captivate the viewer's heart and imagination. Â Beautifully accomplished! What I especially like is that her gaze is just slightly away from us. Â We see her eyes as if she were looking directly into our own ... but clearly she is attuned to her music. Â & the lite touch of her fingertips upon the 'phones is a sweet finish; drop her hand below the frame and it would be a completely different portrait .. and a less interesting one. Wonderful! & she's coming home with me to hang on my wall. Â ;-) Terry
