Description
It was funny because there were quite a few people walking around, but when I pressed the shutter......the place suddenly looked deserted!
I stitched 8 individual photos together to make this image. The original, as with all my panos, is ridiculously huge!

I really like this, especially in terms of all of the marvelous colors! Funny how empty a place can look when your finger hits the shutter trigger! Ah, but people are like that. What I really like about this image is the way in which it looks completely contemporary but also somewhat futuristic. It has the visual feel of a space station corridor (only without the upward "rotational curve" that figures so prominently in "space station art.") In terms of the real world, I really like the POV and the sense of anticipation that this image imparts...it's a bit like an "empty" apartment that's actually full of people just waiting out to begin the surprise birthday party that your wife and sister-in-law were pretending not to plan.

This reminds me of a shopping center in Chicago--though it was closed when I was there. The absence of humans gives it a surreal look, the "last man on earth" vibe--great shot!!

Really nice, I love the panoramic type of feel, and at first I really thought it was a mall too. Where is this located exactly? It makes me think of New York or Chicago, b/c of that urban feel to it.
