This makes me think of clipper ships, partially because of the the lines which look like the spokes of a ship's wheel, but also because of its resemblance to dials. This makes me think of the age of adventure and discovery when dials and navigation were very important. When I think of that age, I think of clipper ships, because they seem to epitomise the excitement of that age as they race over the water in search of new lands. This image has the energy of that time. I love the lines, the straight lines of the top dial and the curves of the others, as if worked on by some force. Excellent intersections and detail of the lines in the center. Beautiful combination of black and gold. Wonderful image! Cela me fait penser aux clipper ships, partiellement à cause les lignes qui ressemblent au spokes de la roue d'un navire, mais aussi à cause de sa ressemblance aux cadrans. Cela me fait penser à l'âge d'aventure et de découverte quand les cadrans et la navigation étaient très importants. Quand je pense à cet âge, je pense aux clipper ships, parce qu'ils semblent personnifier l'excitation de cet âge comme ils courent sur l'eau à la recherche de nouveaux terrains. Cette image a l'énergie de ce temps. J'aime les lignes, les lignes droites du cadran supérieur et des courbes d'entre les autres, comme si travaillé par un peu de force. Les intersections excellentes et le détail des lignes dans le centre. La belle combinaison de noirs et d'or. Magnifique image!
