I've fallen in love with Sabby's latest creation Lyndi - she's gorgeous and extremely versatile. In fact Lyndi was also the base for my half githzerai character A'lysara (with a few tweaks though.)
Changing the pixel sample size certainly makes a difference in the crispness of the background when using DOF. Downside is it took a LONG time to render.. close to 30 hours broken over several days and a couple of restarts due to errors :( Anyway it came out ok in the end I think.

A lovely Elf and her little friend. How can you go wrong? A very nice image, with a wonderful dof effect and superb lighting. But 30 hours? Yikes! Your patience is as impressive as your work!
