Description
Recently, one of the great comic book masters passed away. Dick Giordano was one of the first artists whose name and work I fell in love with. Indeed, along with Neal Adams, Jose Garcia Lopez and Jim Aparo I understood that comics were created by talented men and women who loved the form. Dick Giordano's inks were crisp with a style that influenced many of today's comic artists and will continue to do so through his massive body of work.
Rest in peace Mr. Giordano, and thank you for instilling in me my life long love of comics.

Giordano was an unsung giant of the Bronze Age. One ironic note in your image-- Giordano disliked the character Supergirl and wished they could kill her off.
