Description

Today it is New Harddisk day. The old one was almost filled to the edge. So ths time I have a TB (terrebyte) harddisk. I´ll be offline in the meantime, so this is a quick upload of stumps, I have had in the upload folder since the fall :-) _________________________________________________ Have a great day. We have sunny weather and I hope it will be warmer during the day. New Harddisk Day! HA! I thought it was one of those holidays in Denmark I didn't know about...and then I thought about it! I can be so dense at times! I just thought: hard disk day? There's a holiday for that? Oh, those crazy Europeans! And then I read the rest of your commentary! I love this picture! Stumps always fascinate me. They always remind me of strange little mountains and these are covered in really interesting lichens! WOW! What colors! This is gorgeous!

My first thought was that you had posted a CRICKET shot! But in a way this photo has that double meaning..the ned of one match and then the beginning of another! I love all that lichen!

LOl @ Chip! Fantastic image Helle and yes - the lichen is wonderful! I just saw some serious lichen on the trees in my driveway this morning! I better get out there with my cam! :)

I'll admit, I thought the same as Chip. :) I tumbled to the truth of hard disk day quickly, but at first I wondered about Danish holidays. I love these stumps surrounded by grass. Wonderful image!
