I love the image and dedication, Ines. I believe, deeply, in a Hereafter. We were given Free Will, and will be judged on what we did and how we used that Will. This is why innocents suffer and become victims, why the Bad Guys seem to win, and why sometimes the Bad Guys get it in the neck. There are Good Guys, too. Ususally, they are quiet and live ordinary lives until called upon, or given the chance to do the unusual, the Selfless Act. And sometimes it incurs dying, saving others. A Hero is not made, he/she is born with the ability to become a hero under the right circumstances. Most of us have it within ourselves, that ability. Most of us never get the chance to see if we can become the Hero. Perhaps it is in some Divine Plan, I do not know. What I do know: if you have ever been in combat or extremely stressful situations and someone's life or livihood is on the line...I have seen some extraordinary acts performed without thought by "ordinary" people. Afterwards, they shun the media. They say "I'm not a hero!!" And they mean it, too. They feel they just did what had to be done. Those people are the real heroes, and are belessed individuals. By their acts, we, all Humanity, are bettered.
