for me, the branches framing the image give it an almost ominous feel. like someone of the woods is at the edge watching civilization. it creates a sense of tension that i like.

Wonderful light, atmosphere, and long shadows! I question the heavy prominence of the framing tree in the composition though, just a little bit less would have been good imo, though it does work as a framing device. Nice leading lines through the field too :)
