Born 1941. Yeah, I know, that's old. Live in Rome. Was raised in Buenos Aires, and still feel that as home. Work as a consultant in GIS (Geographical Information Systems). My hobby, or maybe my real profession, is South American history. My wife is a very well known (in her specialized world ) Roman archeologist. Our son is 30 years old, but hasn't decided to grow up yet. Deals in politics. We travel, at least an important travel each year.

yes, my friend. A lot of cathedrals ( and castles sometimes )of northern Germany and Poland are made with bricks. In Spania there is a very strange brick castle in Coca.

This is impressive. Like you, I am used to seeing stone. Cannot even imagine how many bricks must be in such a grand structure. Outstanding photo and like the vertical rise to the entire image...lofty spiritual thoughts accompany such creations.
