Description

Well, been seeing this Lady bug pupa on my shrub for a week now. Figures it would hatch when I couldn't be home to catch it emerging. LOL. But this is prob about an hour after she came out. After they hatch they eat a majority of the pupa shell to gain energy. Made a new flash diffuser out of paper that distributes the flash so much nicer then the way it was. One of the first I tested it on. Love the results! Thanks for looking. -Bruce

Ladybugs are such intriguing creatures! They are pretty extravagant as larvae too! I like the fact that this specimen was polite enough to let you get a photo shortly after it emerged! How considerate, and WOW! What a shot! I love the face. Insects have such adorable faces.
