Description
Once hidden due to drought, our hillsides and roadways are covered with poppies. I just love the spring time. Everything is like an artist canvas. Each with it's own scheme and deep colors.

Did you know there used for restgiving thea? And extract from the California poppy acts as a mild sedative when smoked. Here they called him "slaapmuts"(nightcap) Great photo! RS
