Description
Something simple done in memory of a man who was a wonderful part of the Renderosity community.
He was always encouraging and had wonderful insight into people and the world around us.
Koosie's favourite song was The Teddy Bear Picnic
He is greatly missed.

We tend to subconciously think that our friends and loved ones will always be there... to take it for granted that we can talk to them tomorrow or next week... A failing that can cause us much pain when we lose them. Cherish those you care about.. let them know how much you care.. and don't wait till next week or tomorrow.. they might not be there.. or perhaps you won't!

Please forgive my being late to this Sandy, I just haven't been on RR & I've missed a great deal. I saw this in the forum and I'm finally telling you how very much I appreciate it as well as your thoughts. I know you knew how gentle & kindhearted koosie was, as well as how insightful & just plain "right" he was about art and all things visual. I can't tell you how much I love this piece: You say it's something "simple," but it's masterful & playful at the same time, you have real-looking teddy bears in here, their texture is touchable (wonderful nap!), and the play between them is wonderful as well. You captured the essence of koosie's play, his warmth, and 'cuddlyness'---a word I put in quotes because I assume he wouldn't be thrilled to be known that way (lol), though everyone who knew him knew he was cuddly. (Yes Koosie: You were cuddly!) I know the music you speak of, it's just perfect for koosie, and this is a terrific visualization, and you made it a muted sepia b&w which seems fitting for joy during a time of mourning; and I love the light breaking through at the top, the light at the end of mourning. I thank you so much for it, and for your contributions to koosie's thread, all of which I've read even if I only contributed a few myself. A beautiful tribute, hewn in love & joy for someone you obviously cared about a great deal. I wish you everything good & illumined in your life. A sweet spring to you.
