Description

Hi, Morris Dancing at the 'Adderbury day of dance' yesterday. A glorious sunny day with the local Morris side dancing through the village; stangely the 'traditional' dancing sites just happen to be outside Pubs, hmmmmm, a coincidence?? I don't think so!!!!! Hope you're having a great weekend. Love Tracey xxxxxxx

Great to see this action pic, Tracey. At one time to get into the Bampton team you had to be able to jump onto the bar froma standing start! Who dare say it's an effiminate hobby!?

Great to see that some parts of traditional English life keep going on despite so many things we are outlawed from doing now . Long live Morris dancing , country pubs , cream teas and St George !!

Dancing outside of pubs? How logical! I've always held to the notion that pubs lead, naturally to dancing (or at least very interesting walking) but that's beside the point. I love this shot as it just jiggles and oozes with vibrant life. Quite marvelous. I love the sense of color, the sense of mood, the sense of cultural significance, but then cultural significance always erupts brilliantly inside and outside of pubs. I'm unfamiliar with the actual custom of Morris dancing, but hey, that's just one more fun thing to learn! Great work here and I'm glad I discovered your gallery!
