Description

Took this Yesterday and the Tulsa Air and Rocket Racing Show. The Waco Mystery ship was built in 1940 and has had extensive modifications done. The Waco was used to train civilians as pilots before WW2. With all the mods done to this one, it no longer looks the the original Waco and was named the "Waco Mystery Ship." This one has been in two movies. "Forever Young" and Terminal Velocity. The Modifications are: Replacing the 250 h.p. engine with a 450 h.p. engine Installing a 3 blade propeller Moving the cockpit back 30 inches Adding 18 inches to the landing gear Adding extra cabin struts Adding extra flying wires. Thanks for looking and as always comments are welcome.
