Description

This image contains more than 300 mapletrees and had a VERY slow render... Notes : I built the entire scene in a box of planes. The sun was so strong it was able to shine through it! I would love to hear what you think :)

This is a gorgeous picture! I really like it! Great misty effect. Guess I have to start saving money to get Vue sigh it's way better than Bryce IMHO...

Beautiful scene and well worth the long render time. I guess you did use a better render quality setting than the standard "final" setting on that one.

beautiful. what do you mean, a box of planes? my comment goes towards the sun shining almost through the plants in the center. that strikes me a little unnatural. but i am really looking hard for something here. absolutly stunning.

You're right :) I rendered it in Broadcast. The quality gets 10 times better... By "box of planes" I mean that I made a roof out of a plane... Also there were 4 sides. I could just have used a box but I had to tilt and twist some of the planes in ways you could never do with a box. I hope that explains it...

i know exactly what u mean by box made of plains; i had to do that also in one of my renders to keep the light down. your doing things with vue , others haven't mastered yet. keep on keepin on.
