Description

the series continues... Note - This is an Australian take on a Japanese Garden in my city (Ipswich). We share a sister-city link with the city of Nerida in Japan. This was a joint urban art garden project with them. The spiky plant is an Australian native.. the photographer is from New Zealand so is not.

Interesting. There is a Japanese garden north of here, was owned by a Japanese family. But they closed it, and I was sad. Beautiful path.

I always find it amazing how these gardens can give an illusion of things that don't exist and yet still remain tranquil and simple. Wonderful shot.
