Description

This is a zoom into the last post, "The many faces of El Capitan". When I first shot the image I laughed at not seeing the plane, but decided to keep it, thinking of Richardphotos. When posting the Coyote Butte Wilderness series I had mentioned the numerous aircraft that passed the area. A little bit of information Richard passed along to me was about "contrails", a term unfamiliar to me at that time. A "contrail" is a visible trail of water droplets or ice crystals formed in the wake of an aircraft. Now I understood the science of what formed the wake, but not the actual scientific name. So this post is for Richard and all the things we learn from one another. Thanks for your support.
