Description

I'm in a hole which is about a little over 3 ft deep. The lava is still at a distance to be a real threat but be aware of that front section breaking away allowing the ooze to flow even faster. It is much cooler in the hole and I have a different eye level view of the lava. Aloha and thank you for viewing

This is just a stunning shot! You are one brave fellow to get down in a hole to take this for us, but it really makes for a spectacular POV. You risk life and limb for us...thank you.

Great photo. But now and then I do get a wee bit concerned for your safety Errol. But I know you know the lava flows! Thanks again for a great POV.

Great view indeed. Obviously you vacated the hole before it was too late, but be careful!!! :)

You might think it's cooler in that hole now, but liquid drips down hill, I'm sure that area's temperature is going to change... I thought punaguy got a little to close.... Which one of you is crazier??? LOL
