The texture on the dragon must use displacement maps. It is fantastic! Excellent image.

This is a wonderful delight to my eyes. Visiting a zoo, many years ago, I rested a while on a small wooden bridge that passed over an everglade exhibit.  Just below the bridge, half buried in a small stream, resided a crocodile ... looking near to a cousin of your charming fellow above.  Resting his chin upon the shorline, eyes wide open, the croc' did not move the smallest bit over the time I stayed there watching. At one point a little frog hopped into view and landed square on the great lizard's snout.  I flinched seeing this and was certain that frog was about to meet his end.  But that ol' croc' did not even blink an eye.  Either he had no taste for Amphibian appetizers that day or some primordial instinct kept his reflexes in check with promise of some larger prey.  I was deeply impressed by that display of self control and/or reserved patience. I'd not thought about that experience in a very long time ... yet it rushed straight back into my memory the moment I opened your image. A wonderfully envisioned and realized work! Enjoy your holiday!! Terry
