Wow, this is such nice and beautiful. Very special colors and textures! (and what plants are growing there, or what....(?) ;-)

Tidal pools are so interesting and you have brought just a sample of the wonders found in them to us with this excellent shot.

The green circular objects are sea anemone. They are predatory animals that are named after a flower. The orange object is a star fish. There is a purple star fish hiding by it. The clusters on the rocks are mollusks. They are shellfish.

At Fogarty Beach on the Oregon coast. It was a life changing day trip for me =) I plan to go back often.

Beautiful tidal pool and love that you caught that star fish up there among the mussels. Dana

That's a huge muscle colony...wait, it's a muscle colony isn't it? I don't recognize the sea anemones, but I'm from Chicago and we just don't get those here--a lamprey or two, yeah, a few zebra muscles, yeah, but no sea anemones. There are some really nice details in this shot and I like the colors too. The light is quite nice, it allows for some interesting shadows that pick out the details nicely. This is really great work.
