Way too boring to relate. The only interesting thing about me is I was born in a now defunct British colony in Africa. The one now associated with scam letters.Sad really because it's a beautiful country with mostly terrific people and the scammers are all non residents of that country.
So I can claim that I had a very rich and rewarding start in life and some terrific images that have stayed with me for the rest of my life. The rest has paled into insignificance and a very dull life of training to be an teacher, getting married, having children whilst continuing to carry on my own art interests is very uninteresting to even consider.

You could model a book and put your image as its cover....

It reminds me of "The Martian Chronicles". I like it very much, but think the terrain needs a more complex texture.
Incognitas
I tried very hard to work one I liked better but in the end I liked the 'feel' of the piled up sand in the crevices.

I sort of like this, but have several comments: 1. Good:.. - The foreground is nice.. lots of textural interest, and the limited colour range works well. 2. Not so good:.. - There's no focus. My eye wanders around the light (?) at the top of the pyramid, wonders why it's there, then dances around the flying artifacts, looking for something to focus on (with a reason) and fails to find it. The foreground, although texturally interesting, also has no focal point. - The sky.. wrong colour. Too much contrast with the desert. - The "blimps" (or whatever they are) and other sky-stuff.. too obviously image import. Although I have to say I like the way you've matched up the light angle:-) 3. Please don't get me wrong.. I'm not denigrating! Excellent attempt at a tricky subject! My crits are from a total amateur perspective. Keep up the good work Cheers, Diolma

The Blimps are actually made entirely in Bryce using metaballs and Torus. The other only import was a rather nice glider type thing from Daz. The Sky? well I was having problems as I was using Bryce 7 beta at the time and unfortunately the skies you get seem rather prone to change at a moments notice, don't match the presets and when you save the next time you reopen and render you get a completely different sky.In fact this is one of the reasons I'm not using Bryce 7 at the moment which in my opinion has a long way to go before they should release a new version..However I thought it worked well because anything against that red texture has to work hard. You are probably right about the light though.
