Description

Hello. Few of you 'ask' for the interior shots of the Haunted house. I made a collage so I can show the different levels. As you can see there is no steps going up. I could step on the ledge and grab a frame and pull myself up to see what is on the second floor but hubby said no...! I can not have it my way all the time...lol. He is right though this house is abandonde a long time, not a safest place. On the ground level we can see the wall panneling still, typical for this kind of house. What happened higher I can not answer it. I did not see any major reason for the missing pannels. This house been occupied so the 'unfisnish story' quite out of the window. In New Zealand no white ant either and normaly these woods treated againts all kind of things. I leave a guessing to you... About a dove....sorry I don't have any shot they were all up in the attic but while I was wondering here I heard one of them landed on the floor, I guess it was a youngling felt from the nest. I am not normaly asking for the full view but worth it... Have a great weekend...seeya

Your Hubby is right, you have to be careful in these places. But you still managed some great shots. : )

It almost looks like it was never finished. Or the wood was removed and used somewhere else. What ever the story it's a great old house and beautifully photographed by you.

Oh gosh ... a little Murphy's Oil Soap and a few rags, and that place would be good as new! LOL! Thank you for showing us inside. If the rest of the place had such beautiful wood panels, I can tell you where it all went! Someone nearby probably has gorgeous walls in their house. Fantastic place!

Wow, the inside is much different than I imagined it would look like, but I guess I'm not surprised by it! Thanks for posting, it is great to be able to see the interior and closeups to go along with the original post!

Great POV and clarity in this collage, Tunde, but come on, that doesn't look like any haunted house I've ever seen. Where are the heavy drapes, massive doors, hidden passageways, cobwebs, candelabras, huge paintings of dour ancestors on the wall, and other spooky stuff, LOL.

I'll bet it was a beautiful place at one time. Excellent interior shots! Do you carry studio lighting with you on holiday ;) ? Well done!
