Description

Immortal Words Gone By ~~~~ I've walked among the shadows Through the lion's den And passed the bloody gallows Where hang the sins of men. Passing through the centuries That fly by much like dust Following in the footsteps Of men whose lives were just. Long gone are the bodies Of these intrepid men But they remain immortal By the words writ by the pen. Of course their words are written In many a poem, verse, or rhyme But only one translation Will stand the test of time. Whoe were the gallant messengers That have lasted through the years That remain here, never changing And face eternal fears. J.S. McKellian~ ~~~~ Nothing truly special here, just tinkering about with some of the wonderful freebie brushes from Obsidian Dawn (www.obsidiandawn.com) and worked in PSE7. The image seemed to fit this old poem. Hope you like.

Your image (very cool) and the poem go together perfectly! Those three ghosts to the left look kinda like militant nannies...or maybe it's these chips....

Face eternal fears.... I heard something recently when we die are fear will be gone - I hope so, I'm tired of feeling fear that I'm gonna die by getting eaten alive - lol Robin Williams did a movie about death 10 or so years back, it's a cool movie, sorry, can't remember the name, but Cuba Downing was in it if you want to google it.... sometime when you want to watch a movie about life after death, this is the movie I'd recommend.

I know the movie Mike is talking about, it was really a cool but weird movie. His wife dies, a suicide, he dies, and he wants to find her, so he has to go to some really not so good places, places that could drag him down too. Of course love prevails, and his love for her brings them both back to the "heaven" part of heaven. That's the short version, it's way better then what I described. I think it is "What Dreams May Come". Good movie. This reminds me of that, the portions where he descends into not hell, but the deep depression area that she continues to inhabit, dark, creepy, ruins, destruction, really depressing. I love the way you've created this, Obsidian Dawn has the best brushes, and you've used them in a most excellent way.
