There's more to the picture than meets the eye...BIOHi, my name is Jason. I've been doing CG for about three and a half years now. I've never taken any classes in CG, I'm completely self-taught. I grew up and went to school in Birmingham, Alabama, USA and I currently live in California making environments for games. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Thanks for your comments everyone! @ alessimarco: the image is symbolic of a place where the individual has a chance to evolve further. "Gnosis" comes from the Greek and refers to knowledge. Bells are rung to indicate the start or end to some event, and I used the bell here to represent the possibility of an evolutionary step forward through knowledge, "gnosis", gained of one's true self. And "Become" on the grave stone represents the final state of growth of an individual. For me, an individual is always in a state of becoming, always growing and evolving into something greater and higher than what one was the day before. When that "becoming" ceases, then we have "become". And I just used the tombstone to symbolize the death of the process of becoming. And this just doesn't point to physical death, but being closed off to any kind of growth and learning can be seen as the death of one's character (sense of self). Ok, hope that wasn't too deep. :)
