since getting a camera & entering the art of photography, I've been shooting a lot of water, mainly Lake Michigan. And I find the challenge of all the personalities and powers and hues and moods, etc, quite formidable. As always, you've caught another mood of water with mastery. It isn't b&w, it has real bluish hues & some pinkish ones too, but it definitely leans towards a more simplified palette, and it's perfect because this is about subtlety. The clouds' softness is beautiful, the sheen across the delicate ripples is beautiful, and the proportions & composition are perfect. A beautiful restful capture, with a touch of the eternal, and of peace. And as a water shot, it's as if the water posed for you. More beautiful work from you, lizzi.
