hello there..:), "Poignant", a nightmarish, dark, deep and gloomy, carrying a hint of sinister feel, not overdone, but with a slight touch of eeriness...thats what i was after.
its a mixture of painting and images. images that ive used are worked over a lot to change their condition and the overall situation, according to my needs and as per the mood i had in my mind. the composition/framing and the overall atmosphere are all my own.
done in photosop.

Exquisite work by a professional artist! How the 3D modelers at your job must be happy having you as a resorce! BTW there are a more high resolution image at, http://www.eurekaheritage.org/images/Carson%20Mansion%20pic%2004.JPG But then again, as you paint over and change everything to the unrecognizable it may not matter to you. But just in case here is what I did. I pasted your reference link into TinEye Image Search (tineye.com). There I didn't find a larger version but the name, Chill Mansion. I then did an ordinary Google search on the name, searching only for large images, voila! :)
