....with clouds zoooooming by! I used a slow shutter speed and a steady tripod for this! It may be our national symbol, but I've still had to stand outside for nearly 2 hours waiting for a break in the cloud cover!

Astrophotography is so much fun. This is an even better shot for me as the Southern Cross is invisible from this side of the planet. I'd be totally lost south of the equator as I wouldn't recognize any of the "known" constellations there. I love the scudding clouds too, they add a nice, mysterious touch.
