Description

I could swear that as I worked on this image the leaves were moving.... The May Blossom is heavy on the trees of the ancient hedgerow that line the path behind my garden. 'Sumer is icumen in, Lhude sing cuccu! Groweth sed and bloweth med And springth the wde nu, Sing cuccu!' The fruit of the apple tree may be poisonous or blessed depending on ourselves. In 'The Magician's Nephew', Digory's task is to pluck an Apple from the Garden in the West and deliver it to Aslan, for the healing and protection of Narnia. Knowing that the Apple could heal his dying mother he makes the painful decision to take the apple not for his own purpose, but to keep his promise to Aslan - he is rewarded unexpectedly, with an apple from the tree that grows in Narnia as a result of his endeavour. Very cool Rosy, the morphing on this image is just beyond belief and the way you have the focused colors is just excellent. Beautifully constructed image. Sorry I missed it when it first came out.
