An inspired vision, skillfully accomplished. This is a fine example of how much can be conveyed through subtle craft within a portrait. It is far more engaging to evoke a mood and infer feelings than to firmly portray details and clear messages. We have all been her, just like this, at some time. You stir our memories and emotions with this work and in so doing bond us to it with wonder and affection.
