I was born in the flat lands of Kansas in a family of nine. My love of images started when I was 11 in the mid60s and my mom brought home a box full of Life and Look mags. Being the middle child, withdrawn and depressed. I took these images, cut them up made collages to express myself. My Art form begain and so too my love of Photography. I still make Collages from found objects. But once I got my computer I turned to 3D Art. Then replace my old SLR with a digital and here I am. I now live on a small Island in the Puget Sounds. With my husband and two cats and a menagerie of wild life.

What a gorgeous and accurate image. I lived overseas for 2 years and thus had to surrender many of my domestic possessions. Among such things was a television that I'd only watched a few hours a week...mostly to see the reimagined version of Battlestar Galactica and the occasional episide of Doctor Who. I don't have a television now, and well...BSG is over and done with, so I don't miss it very much. But anyway, enough rambling. I love this image and the intense level of visual texturing it has. I love the mood, the highlights and particularly the shadows. This is stunning work.

Wow. A stunning and powerful image. I love the sort of false sense of security in what's to be seen of the walls, and the crowding in of what I see as forest/undergrowth, a jungle of trees, falling right in with what you said about the so called news channels. I won't even get off on a diatribe about what I think of it all ROFL!! Suffice to say I'd much watch outright blather like Two and Half Men!! At least it makes me laugh. I love this .. the darkness of it reflecting the doom and gloom so often blown out from the news channel commentators .. the little person so rapt in her/his viewing .. reminds me of my brother in law .. oh never mind. I said I wasn't going there, giggles.
