This is different from what I usually do..but I wanted to try something different and when adamthwaites put up a freebie called minimalist (in freebie forum), this idea came to mind. Hope you like it. V4 from Daz Austin hair from Daz minimalist scene by adamthwaites

Stunning image, Annie. Just one small consideration if you ever decide to re-render. The scale of the blocks is wrong compared to the girl. Typical cinder blocks are 8X8X16 inches. This image has lot of emotion. Super job.

This is great Annie. You've caught exactly how I've felt in the past when in the middle of stark depression. I love the corner (I personally have trouble with corner effects) but that's perfect. I thought you used the larger blocks on purpose to show how small one feels when we are truly that deep in despair. In any case, this is an excellent portrayal of true despair and that's said by one who's been there and one who now has the Ph.D. in Psychology.

Your render is amazing, Annie... You captured the feeling of despair perfectly and you share your own vision of it with us all. I love the way you chose to express despair because all the attention is focused on the character thanks to the perfect lighting. It is a very poignant render and it does express realistically what we can feel when we are down. Solitude, brittleness and sorrow are the words that I would choose to describe your piece of art.
