Description
Captured 3/09/10, early in the morning, about three-fourths of a mile from my hallowed haven.
Looks considerably better full size.
I really like its caramel color.
This was a friendly cat compared to most of the others I encounter, who high-tail it away to hide under the closest vehicle when they see me approaching from a block away. This is the only photo of the kitty because right after this snap it jumped up and ran off to investigate something it saw. Otherwise, this would have been a collage.

Wow, this looks so much like the cat that wandered onto my back porch a few years ago. I invited him in, he went right past me into the basement to look in all the places only a cat would look, then he came up ten minutes later and accepted some food and drink and some attention, and posed for a couple of shots. Then he was gone, but came back one other time. I wanted to keep him but I found out he was not free to move in.
