Description

I very busy now and not going to comment on other people work . I hate to do this but I also know you like to see the posts I was talking about. I do not know what this place was. i was just judgeing but the type of mailboxes they have by the front of this place. As you see the wooden post and some steps too over on the otherside on the sidewalk. i do not know why no one took them. They look good to me. I guessing this is a traler park that people put the trailers on the posts so the water will not get in them. I may be a foundation to some type of building that people live in like a group home too? Anyway I took many shots of the birds flying around here. I think this is the best one of ten shots. I was thinking to day why a shimper looked so mad when I was takeing photos of they boats. I learn they can not fish in the Gufe for at lest three years now. lol they loss jobs there. I was thinking too why the news now saying gallions of oil. They alway say burrals of oil not gallions? make me wonder. I heard too they had a plan pre-aprove to burn oil if something like this happen. Why they did not? make me wonder about that too. Whe the goverment when they talk about the oil spill they just talking about what happen to New Orleans? make me wonder if they have a clue of what going on? Plus they say they was on it from day one? The oil people and the state goverment did not hear one word for the US Goverment for many days on the oil. It all talk from the goverment. Bust got hit hard from New orleans for no action but no one word say about this goverment for no action. Yes they sent in the FBI and people like them. For what they know nothing on how to stop this. Just wanted to let you know what the news saying and not saying too. thanks for understanding about me being busy. I will comment on your work when I can; sorry

First, I love this shot. Makes me think they put in a post for each bird to sit on...sort of like apartments for birds... :-) As for the oil spill, we hear here about much more than New Orleans. We hear about damage proposed for around the tip of Florida and back up to the Carolinas if the current and winds keep steady to the east like they've been. The horror of what this is doing to fine hard, working families is heartbreaking. To dock but yet maintain a shrimp boat or shrimp fleet for 3 years with no income will break so many. I can only hope there is government help for them - but it will never give them back their full lives or dignity. Its not just about damaged wildlife...its about damaged people.

A puzzling place here but it makes a nice resting place for the birds. Sad about the oil situation. Aloha

It does look like a perfect spot for the birds to play Jock. So sorry about all your going through in that part of the country, it is heart breaking. Your points are well made and add to the reasons I don't have much use for government.

wonderful picture!! They speake about barrels because it's the worldwide measure for crude oil. In burning the oil is even worse than the oil spill itself. It will massively pullute also the atmosphere and the bottom of the sea. They can use resident (natural) bacteria as they did with Exxon Valdez or in some places of Louisiana. I think that bioremediation is the best way.
