Hi there. This crane fly I found a playground while my kids are playing ball. Can't resist to take some shots of this unusual looking insect. Tomorrow I will show you a cut-out of the shot, showing the head a bit closer. Have a great day.

Man you find the most interesting specimens to photograph! People may say the same to me but in an entirely different context though ;) hahaha. Hope you have had the opportunity to research some of the scientific stock photo oriented sites, your work with these various insects is truly something I could see getting published!

These are amazing creatures! I've seen something similar and it didn't stay still long enough for me to photograph it...maybe it was upset as I'd remarked to myself how it was amazing that a creature could have such a small head. At any rate, they're gorgeous creatures and I love the intimate details you show us here. Superb work.
