Description

For Scooby37: This was the fourth try at rendering Max in such a way to do the character justice... I hope you like the render... Maybe if you're in a humorous mood at a later date I'll post "Rendo-pamine Max" or "Poser-holic Max" or even "Starship Trooper Max"

I hope people will zoom this one. Wonderful gritty action scene. I love the posing and the situation presented. Love her no-nonsense pose and expression. The storyteller in me likes this a lot: You gotta wonder how she got to this point - and what's going to happen next LOL! Nice work!

@ Networthy: I render with the writer's eye because I do write... so there is some kind of story in mind behind what I render... (which might make you wonder what the stories are in the rest of my gallery). This is why it was hard to find a good scene that said something without the picture's story being trite (good girl, bad place) or redundant (girl with shiny weapon). Single frame renders tend toward suffering from the same "visual tropes" as TV if you don't put some kind of twist. Art takes place in the mind of the viewer just as a story does. The trouble is projecting the story / image into the mind of the viewer in a way that makes the viewer think about the story-image. Thanks for the comment! @Machobubba: I understand Hics with guns... I live in South Carolina! I've never understood the need for superheroes when a few good every day "do my job, get stuff done" heroes is all we need. Thanks for the comment!

Joel, I love this render. I think you captured her likeness better than I did in my promo's I like the lighting and the action poses. I must admit I don't much like the hair though, but that's just me. Well done and thank you for a great representation of my character. Just like the real thing.

The pov, pose and her expression really do tell a story...perhaps a different one in the mind of each viewer...and that's what makes it excellent!!!
