Hi, this is DAM3D.
I live in the rainy climate of Oregon. It rains a LOT.. so I have a lot of time indoors to work on art and game, and goof off or whatever :) I joined Renderosity many years ago and love the community. It's nice to share my stuff with other artists and get tips and complements as well. I created my own domain back in 1999 called dam3d. It's my real life initials with 3D at the end. You can go see it if you like, I am not such a great web-designer, but the page lets me show my work off with no bandwidth or size restrictions, so I like it. I get the best views here at Renderosity though and love it. I work in IT, have been since 1991, so if you ever have computer problems, feel free to ask me :) I might be able to help. I forgot to mention though, although I have been in IT for 20+ years, I hate it but I am very experienced in the IT world. I really hope to get into doing my art for a living in some way. Modeling or graphics, or both. I dunno. all I know is, I would love to do what I love to do for a living. :D Please check out my Zazzle Store and get a great mouse-pad or somthing! :D
I am old......more later :)

Like the FOV in this...the camera lens adds a touch of the unusual to the scene...nice material choices too!

I like the choice of viewing out through a cavern or cave as you did here. The lighting works well with the POV.

Haven't been around for a while...missed a bunch. Like the underwater visions in this one...and the stars. I'll have to try something with water. Two layers of water, huh? I tried layering some terrains the way you mentioned in a previous post, and that added a lot more realistic variation in the textures. Unfortunately, the rest of the post didn't hold together.
