My brother (in law) has been sick a longtime with serious heart problems. In recent months he spend most of his time in hospital since he had many attacks and his heart needed to be reset/shocked many times. All is hopes were on a heart transplant since that would be the only solution. He fought a hard struggle for himself, his wife and children. People find strength they don’t have when there is hope. Last night the doctors told us there is no way a transplant is possible since his total body was worn-out. This “hope” was thus taken. Little time later all his brothers and family were called to come and say goodbye since the spirit had gone. He was just so tired but also scared. During the night he got morphine to stop pain and make him “rest”. He was always, however sick a cheerful and funny person and I will remember the words he said to the nurse “Well this means we wont have a date then”. Sometimes death can be a blessing since you love someone. At 4 am he went onto a better place and found piece. I want to thank all my friends here for there support.
