Title: City Canyon Name: Stefan Morrell Country: New Zealand Software: 3ds max, finalRender, Photoshop Taking a welcome break from work to do some personal art again.I modeled the city a few months ago,the ship is something I started last year..still not finished the ship so this is a wip version...rendered at 6k rez,using finalrender,modeled in 3dsmax,post in Photoshop more pics/wires etc can be seen here http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=132&t=880370&page=1&pp=15

I am presently working in a part of the world where internet connection speed is close to the speed of an oil slick. Therefore, when accessing this picture I was treated to a virtual dance of the seven veils as the image slowly loaded. At first I admired the light values at the top of the picture and as the scrolling progressed downwards my respect grew. The wonderful level of detail and the expert creation of the overall composition made it well worth the slow download time. In the end, the dessert to complete this visual meal, was the unique design of the craft at the bottom. I cannot do this image justice with my feeble attempt of describing the cleverness of the painting itself and the mind behind it. I would like to humbly thank you for sharing your work, which no doubt inspires many others to dream deeply and aim for the same level of artistic dedication that you consistently display. Love that ship! Sure hope you make it commercially available. Another excellent scene with all your trademark touches. This looks like the cover for a Sci-fi novel. Great work!
