Description

this has nudity but is displayed in public so I did not flag it.hope your Mother's day is safe and enjoyable Farmers Merchant bank in Pilot Point Texas was restored in the 1970s by current owner Wes Miller. Mr. Miller has turned the bank into an art gallery showcasing some extraordinary Texas art and antiques. The bank has seen its share of history as it was once robbed of $8000 in 1882 and than became a location in the film, "Bonnie and Clyde." In recent years, the German building was the topic of many locals who tried but lost a battle over a risque painting on the rear exterior wall. Be sure to take a look at the painting of Eve holding the forbidden fruit. The Town of Pilot Point will stage a festival October 8-9, 2010, which will turn the Farmers Merchant town square into a piece of living history.Re-enactment of 1967 Filming of Bonnie & Clyde - Using student film crews from the University of North Texas, actors from UNT's drama department, extras from Pilot Point ISD and Dallas Model A Car Club classic cars, filming of the bank robbery of the Farmers & Merchants Bank will be reenacted. thanks for wondering by and if you have time for comments--"heehaw!!"

Amazing shots, Richard! I'm glad they didn't erased it to build a brand new Walgreens or CVS, as they did few years ago in New Baltimore, MI with an old, very old building, one of the very first buildings in town, which it was replaced with a "modern" CVS...
