Description

Wouldn't that frost ya! was one of my Grans favorite sayings and it applied to many circumstances...If she were alive today that's exactly what she would say upon seeing this image. Not exactly the mothers day image I was going to do...but who knew it was going to snow??? It isn't sticking thankfully but the wind chills are in the 20's and frost expected tonight! Happy Mothers Day to all the ladies (but that also includes men who are doing the job as mom and dad). We wish you a warm loved filled day! This is also my (and Alex's) 600th upload...We want to thank each and every one of you that have continuously supported our work, you are the wind beneath our wings...thanks also for supporting me thru my ongoing health issues...without your support I might have given in long ago...many thanks for the cards, letters and phone calls from those checking in on me, for the many gifts I have received in snail mail (you know who you are)in art and help with programs and for the love and hope. I am forever grateful that so many have welcomed me to their circle of friends. I am still unable to get here often, miss you all and miss your beautiful works...You may have noticed that while I am not making comments I do get to see some of the works, you will know I was there because I have added them to my favorites. Thanks for viewing, previous comments and favs. Have a most lovely Sunday and a great week ahead!

Snow? I blame that darn volcano for that...but enough of that. I really wanted to just say congratulations on reaching 600 posts and I look forward to getting more familiar with your gallery and seeing FAR more than 600 more! I won't gloat, but Chicago was deliciously snow-free for Mother's Day. It was actually sunny for a change, but who knows what's gonna blow off the lake in the next 10 minutes. I noticed the same Hosta that durleybeachbum noticed. It does look nicely slug free. I'd say this is a nice shot, and it is, but it's a bit chilling. Literally! Ew...bad pun...sorry!
