Description

In a house On the hill, there lived a little girl, her smile bright as sunshine, her laughter cheerful as the rain. She played hide and seek, She climbed up trees Like you and I. But what happened next, remains a mystery, Her shoes were found down the river side. She was missed by those who loved her. As they moved, her memories stayed behind. Years came by, the house still stood there, It was an inn for a while, until guests dwindled to a trickle. Closed for another twenty or something years... forgotten by time. Cobwebs filled its empty rooms, dark shadows peeked from broken windows, Fallen leaves swirled and danced in the misty air. Little girl, little girl come and play, giggles and silly laughter in quiet, desolate hours as passersby quickly walk away. Once again, a haunting silence occupied the house on the hill. ~Pixeluna This is actually a sad story of a little girl, but at the same time I'd like to use mistressotdark's horror background which I had for a while (thanks for your patience, Cheryl). It will be available at RMP soon. This is dedicated to all the missing children all over the world and to their families. Please check out this song where I got the inspiration from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzsaDToq-lM Thanks for viewing!

So amazing and yet sad all in one!, this image has deep emotion to it. I remember a saying somewhere from my past " Mother is the word for God on the hearts and lips of all children". Most excellent artwork Jenny Huggs David.

It is indeed every parent's worst nightmare to have their child taken! The innoncence in her eyes makes your image very haunting...to think of that innocence stolen! A well done image and message my friend!

How haunting this scene, and how tragic the story, all the more so for what hasn't been told than what has. You move so easily from genre to genre, Jenny - Terry has his finger on the pulse about your abilities and talent! Your poetry left an ache for all the children who find themselves in the clutches of this world's evil.

I like it because it is not only quite beautiful in its own way, but because it tells a story like it is... in real life Hollywood endings are not always so common for missing children. I wonder, however, if some people even bothered to read the words, for this is hardly to be described as cute. How many people shut their eyes and refuse to hear? I always wonder.
